Rob is the Vice-President of TPFR. Outside of TPFR, he is the local Fly Fishing Consultant, offering guided trips on the Potomac and other local waters by the hour. He is a prolific fly tyer, specializing in unconventional materials. In addition to his guiding, Rob shares his passion for the sport with others on his podcast, Youtube page and teaches at our beginner's table at our monthly Beer Ties. Dan Davala,
Founder and Member Emeritus
Dan founded the Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders in April of 2009 to draw attention to the world class fly fishing we have available in our Nation's River. Dan works for the Orvis Company as a Fly-fishing Travel Specialist. He has since moved to Vermont but left a lasting legacy on the club.
